Now a singular presence in the modern world, the NUBA Dance Theatre Company tours locally and nationally, presenting a powerful vision for in the 21st century.
The multi-ethnic company performs a forward-thinking repertoire that includes treasured classics, and innovative contemporary neoclassical works by Artistic Director, Evelyn Thomas, to celebrate Evelyn Thomas’s belief that classic techniques of Horton, Limon should not be lost amongst the new generation.
Through performances, community engagement and arts education, the Company carries forward NUBA Dance Theatre’s message of empowerment through the arts for all.
