"HOLD ON - ONE PEOPLE"​

The Corner Stone of Dance in the Bay Area in celebration of the Birth of NUBA’s first ROOTS concert with Malonga Casquelourd & Gloria Manning-Taylor.

Celebrating the Arts from the Ancestors for Humanities, Black History Month & International Women’s month 2026- 28’ premiers.​​​​

A very special aspect of the Lincoln Center Honoree, Jacqui Hariston, Voices of the Negro Spirituals and other Legendary Elders.
Artist in Residence, 7-week intensive arts incubator fosters creative explorations and collaborations culminating in the development of 4 original works: “Hold On” “It’s Wrong”, “Hush” and “Universal Spirit”. (Documenting these historical works).
Weaving our history’s repertory, to emerge and preserve, dance forms with respect for everybody” (Baba Chuck Davis*) 20th Century continue into the 21st century!

NUBA's Visionary Goal is to share this experience in Premiere Productions for Black History/ International Women's Month at the following locations during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027 - 2028:
